Dramatic Play
Dramatic Play
Child-directed dramatic play is one of the strongest influences in the development of a child’s self-esteem. Skills are learnt organically and include:
- language & reasoning
- cooperation amongst peers
- development of social skills
- learning behavioral/impulse control with friends,
- moral development as rules and guidelines are internalized
- gaining a keen sense of fairness (right and wrong)
- opportunities for emotional expression
Each classroom aged two and up will provide daily opportunities for dress-up, dramatic play and role play in our house and dress-up corners.
